When Eliza and I got married, we couldn't afford the big fancy Hawaiian Honeymoon. So we decided that we would save up for it and go when we had the money. Problem is, as college students, there wasn't that much extra to save. So we decided to save coins. Pennies were plentiful, but not worth much. Quarters were necessary for the weekly trips to the laundromat. That left nickels and dimes. The choice was made to save dimes for Hawaii.
Needless to say, we have not made it to Hawaii yet. But I think God planned it that way. Instead, we are taking our Dime Fund, and adding it to our adoption fund. Some things are more important than a fancy trip to paradise.
We invite you to join us and save your dimes to bring our daughter home.
