A few weeks ago we received our "ADOPTION TIMELINE" as following: (I've added the dates we've completed things)
1. Homestudy completed
2. 800a application submitted 1/26/12
(Fingerprints taken - 2/17/12)
3. Immigration approval received from USCIS (approx. 2-3 months)- 2/27/12
4. dossier certified/authenticated (approx. 2-3 weeks) - 3/2/12
5. dossier sent to China - 3/9/12
(Arrives in China - 3/12/12)
6. Log in Date Received (approx. 3-4 weeks) - 3/26/12
To be continued . . . now we wait for #7 (step 17 is travel to China): the "Letter of Acceptance" (3 months)--will you pray with us that God will continue to work? We rejoice in the speed at which He is moving things along and holding out that hope in the miracle of getting her this summer. :)
